In construction specifications, the content is systematically organized into divisions that detail requirements for various construction components. Division 9 is specifically tailored to "Finishes." Within this division, specifications related to different finishing materials and methods, such as painting, plastering, and flooring, are presented.
Acoustic clouds, essential for overhead sound control and aesthetics, would typically be categorized under Division 9. More specifically, they might be housed under a subsection dedicated to "Acoustical Treatments" or "Acoustical Overhead Treatments." The precise section number or title might vary based on the specific format or version of the specification being utilized, but it's common to find them under a designation like "09 84 00 - Acoustical Cloud Treatments" or something similar.
Within this section or subsection, detailed specifications for the acoustic clouds would be provided, encompassing material descriptions, installation procedures, performance criteria, and other relevant specifics.
If you're perusing a particular set of construction specifications or a unique format, it's always recommended to consult the table of contents or index to locate the exact section where acoustic clouds are described.

NRC RATING
NOISE REDUCTION COEFFICENT
Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) is calculated by averaging the sound absorption coefficients of a material at four frequencies (250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, and 2000 Hz) as measured in a reverberation room according to ASTM C423 standards.

Cleaning & Care Instructions
Normal surface dust and dirt can be removed from the fabric by vacuuming with a horsehair duster brush attachment. If vacuuming does not clean the fabric, lightly dab the fabric with a slightly damp cloth. Use a white cotton cloth and water mixed with a mild detergent. Squeeze as much of the water out of the cloth as possible before dabbing to avoid saturating the fabric with water.
DO NOT use excess pressure to scrub the fabric.
